#234 - Love

Thought I'd go back to basics with a deceptively simple prompt: love.

Sorry! The second one is this week's post. Is there a way to delete an accidental Mr. Linky?

I have been away for awhile. Love for me is like the sea, swirling and churning violent on the surface and calm quiet underneath, nothing but love can give you this thrill. Share some love!

Thanks for the promp!!!

"Love is everything and so by extension nothing. It is right and so by extension it is wrong. For one person it is, for others it is not. Love is living and so by extension dying. Love is life and life is love."

Love? Really? I had to go for humor with my response.

extremely broad word prompt this week. tried to start on it last nite, but was overwhelmed (LOL!) This morning, being more clear, I wanted to tell of my love for a very special person :-)

It's part 2 of something I had written a few weeks ago.

I had two ideas for this prompt: a symbolic blood-and-thorns monstrosity (which thankfully did not come to fruition) and the little faery piece I ended up doing. :)

Chiming in late here. I worked on my video last weekend, posted it on Monday, then embedded it in my blog entry on Thursday. My entry is about Dan Savage's "It Gets Better Project," a YouTube channel of love and outreach to bullied GLBTQ teens at risk of suicide.

@e-journeys, thank you for mentioning that project. I brought it up in church today... my daughter came out to a loving, supportive family. It's a part of who God made her!
