#113 - Curve or Curves

Has life thrown you a curve ball? Do you love hugging the curves while you are driving? Do you love or hate your physical curves? Winkipedia defines 'Curve' as: "In mathematics, the concept of a curve tries to capture the intuitive idea of a geometrical one-dimensional and continuous object." But we use the word in a lot of different ways. What do you have to say about curve/ curves?

#112 -- Quitting

Have you ever quit something? A job, a sport, a school play, a relationship? How did it feel? Were you guilty? Flooded with relief and a powerful feeling of freedom? Do you maybe quit things too easily? Or do you never quit, even when you should? What does it mean to be a "quitter"?

NOTE: I had to redo Mr. Linky and the links were lost. Sorry! Please re-post below.

#111 - Soar/ Sore

The prompt for this week is 'Soar.' As I read this word and said it out loud I realized that it also could be 'sore.' You could soar through the air, or be sore at someone. You could tell us about your ride in an airplane or about the kind of bandage you would need to make that wound feel better. Is your heart sore or does something make it soar? Which way do you feel today?

#110 -- Telephone

Write about a particularly memorable phone call you made or received, or about your first telephone, or maybe a time you needed one but didn't have one. Or, remember way back a few years ago when everyone didn't have cell phones? Write about phones!

#109 - Family

The prompt this week is: Family. Love them or hate them, we all have them. Whether it's urban families, adopted families, work families, extended families, nuclear families, or blended families, no matter how you look at them, they are complicated. Make up a new family, talk about your own family, or create a family for one of your characters to flesh them out a little. What does the word family bring up for you?

Happy Scribbling!
